Big Splash PR is a public relations firm specializing in servicing clients in Chicagoland and Northwest Indiana area. Public Relations is the centerpiece of what we do. We are experienced PR professionals providing a very cost effective way of obtaining media exposure. Principals Pat Kremer and Carolyn Jacobs have worked together for the past twelve years developing successful public relations campaigns that have garnered national and international media coverage, incorporating TV, radio, newspaper, magazines and online media. Kremer and Jacobs have set up partnerships with local and national businesses, tapped into timely promotional opportunities and synchronized paid advertising campaigns by working closely with the advertising agency to make sure that the public relations efforts are integrated and consistent with the look and feel of the campaign. This strategy has proven, time and time again, to maximize the overall impact of a PR campaign and the results demonstrate a profile of integrated marketing at its best.
The team has worked in promoting a wide range of product categories from motorcycles to Cartier jewelry to Cleopatra. In addition to creating a worldwide PR coup with the Unveiling of a Dinosaur Named Sue and breaking attendance records for 2007 King Tut Exhibition in Chicago, we have successfully marketed several sports projects. We developed the first exhibition of Chicago Bears memorabilia at the request of the team, worked with the Chicago Bulls, Chicago Cubs, and the Chicago White Sox among others. We have worked with Chicago’s Chinese community leaders providing PR for an international exhibit. We also created a tribute to Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. that brought in the largest African American audience in the Field Museum’s history; secured front page coverage in the Chicago Tribune; and received extensive TV and radio coverage on five consecutive days. We have hosted the Dalai Lama and Her Royal Highness Princess Diana among other dignitaries. In managing several crisis situations over the last decade, we have proven that we have the ability to think on our feet while meeting every PR challenge with enthusiasm, intelligence and solid experience.
